TTBC continues to grow

Since 2016 TTBC has provided boxing and training opportunities for young people aged 9 years and over, with opportunity of competitive participation for members aged 10 to 40 years.

We pride ourselves on offering a high quality and welcoming environment for young participants in the sport. The Club has adopted and abides by the England Boxing Child Protection & Boxing Equity policies.

Silver Ring closes 1992

Since Silver Ring closed it’s doors in 1992, Thetford went over a quarter of a century with a Boxing Club in the town.

TTBC has been awarded affiliation to England Boxing. We were awarded this affiliation as we can demonstrate that the club and its committee, coaches and volunteers meet and abide by their high standards in child protection, sports equity, ethics and club management.

Supported by the people of Thetford

We welcome friends, parents and supporters to our training sessions and competitions. There are many ways in which individuals and businesses can support Thetford Town Boxing Club to grow and develop and continue to train and nurture local young people in their chosen sport of Boxing.

These include sponsoring an individual boxer or bout, and advertising your business on our ring banners.

Award winning Boxing Club

We would like to say a massive thank you to anyone that nominated TTBC for the TARA Awards. It gave us the opportunity to attend and listen to so many great things people are doing in Thetford and how passionate and proud they are of our town.

It was an honour to receive the Sporting Award for Thetford Town Boxing Club. None of this would be possible without all the volunteers that give up their time to keep pushing our club forward.

Every boxer will move up sessions depending on their own skills and abilities, regardless of how long they have been attending. Everyone is different and will progress at their own pace, at different times with the assistance and guidance of our trained coaches.

All boxers please ensure you bring the following with you to every session:
Handwrap, Groin Guard, Mouth Guard, and Water.

For those under the age of 16 years, arrangements should be made for your child to travel to and from training sessions and matches. We appreciate it if children can arrive promptly and are collected promptly at the end of the session, if they are not making their own way home.

We welcome parents / family members to all training and competitions and value your support.
